About the Event

The Namuna College Fashion Event was a spectacular showcase of emerging design talent from Nepal's premier fashion institute. This annual event brought together over 30 designers who presented their collections to an audience of industry professionals, media, and fashion enthusiasts.

As the official event photographer, I had the privilege of capturing every detail - from the intricate designs on the runway to the raw emotions backstage. The challenge was to document the fast-paced event while maintaining artistic composition and technical excellence in low-light conditions.

Photography Approach

For this assignment, I employed a combination of techniques:

Runway Shots: Used a 70-200mm f/2.8 lens to capture models in motion while maintaining background separation

Detail Shots: 100mm macro lens for jewelry, fabric textures, and accessory close-ups

Backstage: Documentary-style photography with 35mm prime lens to capture candid moments

Low Light: High ISO performance with careful noise reduction in post-processing

The result is a comprehensive visual narrative that showcases both the grandeur of the event and its intimate moments.
